A Blast From The Past! 90s week. (# 3)

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to day three of 90s week, today I have a brand new album/music video to show you, so let’s started.

The album I chose as number 3 is “Let’s Talk About Love” by Celine Dion. The album was released in November 1997 and it sold 11,800,000 copies. Celine Dion collaborated with many popular musicians for this album, such as Barbara Streisand, Luciano Pavarotti, the Bee Gees and Carole King. These musicians were a wonderful addition to the album, but let’s not forget Celine’s powerful vocal abilities. She once again showcased how talented she is and for this she received a much deserved Grammy Awards. She won a Grammy for Record of the year, song of the year, best female pop vocal performance and best song written for motion picture or television. Her most popular song from this album is “My Heart Will Go On” the love theme from Titanic.

The music video I chose as number 3 is “Maria Maria” by Santana ft. The Product G&B. The song was released on November 23, 1999 and it earned a number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for ten weeks. The song also earned a number one spot on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop song charts. The single won a Grammy for Best pop performance by a duo or group with vocal. The song earned a platinum certification in the States as well as in Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland and a gold certification in Sweden. I am a huge fan of this song and used listened to it a lot when I was child. This is definitely a classic.

Enjoy and see you soon!
