Welcome back to Foodie February! Today is the last post for this monthly segment and I decided to share with you some of my favorite breakfast meals.
Let’s get started!
1. Avocado Pudding
This is one of my favorite breakfast creations and to make this it is very easy. All you need is one large avocado, two tablespoons of cocoa powder, half of a banana, honey and little bit of milk. All of these ingredients need to be put in a blender and pour in milk is essential because it helps blend all of the ingredients faster. When everything is blended, it will have a pudding consistency. It is a healthier and better alternative to actual chocolate pudding! You put some toppings such as berries, coconut flakes and etc.
2. Waffles and Jam
This is fairly simple but on a day when I want to feel fancier, I like to have gluten free waffles with jam. This is so delicious and sweet!
Cereal is quick and easy for those days when you are in a rush. I have a few kinds of cereal I love and I tend to pick an organic cereal. This one here is a vegan cocoa cereal from Costco and it’s divine.
4. Bulgarian style pancakes
These are the best pancakes anyone could ever taste. These are Bulgarian style pancakes, they are very thin and they are stuffed with feta cheese or jam. This breakfast is more gourmet for days when I want to feel fancy or have a special day.
5. Yogurt granola bowls
This is my all-time favorite breakfast choice! I use organic probiotic yogurt with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. I like to use raspberries or blackberries, I put one table spoon of chia seed powder to make it extra healthy.
6. Scrambled Eggs and Avocado
This is my choice for a savory breakfast, I love scrambled eggs with avocado and sometimes I’ll add gluten-free toast or crackers. I also add some fruit to add a little bit of sweetness to my meal.
When I’m not too hungry but I still need to nourish my body, I make smoothies. I have types of smoothies that I like to make. The first one is with almond milk, one banana, strawberries, blueberries and chia seed powder. The second smoothies I like to make it with spinach, one banana, and chia seed powder. It so healthy for you and a great way to detox your body if you ate junk food from the day before.
